Worked on the cline/cline repository to address a critical issue in AWS credential management, focusing on backend development with TypeScript and environment variable handling. Delivered a targeted bug fix that prevents the AWS_PROFILE environment variable from overriding explicit AWS credentials during client initialization. This was achieved by temporarily unsetting AWS_PROFILE when explicit credentials are provided, ensuring the intended configuration is preserved. The solution enhanced the reliability and security of AWS-based workflows, particularly benefiting deployment and CI/CD processes. By resolving a credential conflict referenced in issue #2888, the work reduced risks associated with shell initialization scripts and improved overall deployment stability.
