During May 2025, Detective Pomeranian delivered a targeted data-cleanup feature for the SirzBenjie/pokerogue repository, focusing on improving the efficiency and maintainability of sprite color data. By leveraging skills in asset management, data cleaning, and JSON manipulation, Detective Pomeranian removed redundant color entries from variant JSON files across front, back, and experimental sprite categories, including female variants. This refactor aligned color definitions across all variants, reducing inconsistencies and simplifying future updates. The work was implemented as a single, reviewable commit, representing a focused quality-of-life improvement that enhances data integrity and streamlines ongoing asset management within the project.
