Worked on the GDP-ADMIN/gen-ai-examples repository to deliver a core feature focused on upgrading the GLLM core libraries and optimizing the local development setup. The approach involved updating gllm-misc, gllm-retrieval, and gllm-pipeline to their latest compatible versions, ensuring improved stability and compatibility across the development environment. Additionally, modified the local-start.sh script using shell scripting to install dependencies without caching, which reduced onboarding time and addressed setup flakiness. Leveraged skills in Python, dependency management, and version control to enhance environment reliability, streamline developer onboarding, and future-proof the project’s dependency management without introducing any production-level bugs.
