Worked on enhancing the IgniteUI/igniteui-angular repository by implementing remote paging support in the Angular grid component. Focused on enabling server-driven paging for large datasets, the approach involved importing IPageEventArgs and aligning the solution with the existing grid architecture to support scalable data handling. Utilized Angular and TypeScript to reduce client-side data load and lay the foundation for backend integration, improving performance for applications managing extensive records. Prepared documentation and test scaffolds to facilitate adoption of the new remote paging feature. The work demonstrated a methodical approach to front end development, emphasizing maintainability and scalability within the grid component.
