Worked on the mirage-project/mirage repository to enhance the reliability of CUDA-enabled workflows by addressing a critical setup configuration issue. Focused on Python development and package management, the work involved updating the setup process to include an additional CUDA library path, specifically supporting installations that provide stubs. This targeted bug fix improved cross-environment compatibility and reduced the risk of install-time errors, while maintaining a clear and auditable commit history. The change was carefully isolated to the configuration layer, simplifying potential rollbacks and laying the groundwork for future maintenance of CUDA paths across diverse environments without introducing new features during the period.
