During July 2025, Dezheng Guo contributed to the manifoldmarkets/manifold repository by integrating an AI-enabled bot feature. He updated the TypeScript-based configuration management system to recognize and interact with GenAIBot by adding it to the BOT_USERNAMES constant. This targeted change established the foundation for future AI-assisted automation within the platform, while maintaining a low-risk profile by limiting the update to a single configuration file and avoiding impact on the user interface or core application flows. Although the scope was focused and did not involve bug fixes, the work provided clear commit traceability and set up future AI-driven enhancements.
