During a two-month period, Daniel Gonyier enhanced the openshift-kni/eco-gotests repository by developing features focused on security, cryptography, and deployment flexibility. He optimized SHA-3 hashing for s390x architectures and improved SSH known_hosts handling to increase test reliability. Daniel introduced a secure command execution package and a warnings package to standardize error handling across Go-based test suites. He also enabled RAN deployment tests to bypass TLS verification for environments using self-signed certificates, updating documentation and configuration management accordingly. His work demonstrated depth in Go development, system programming, and cryptography, addressing real-world testing and deployment challenges in automated CI environments.

July 2025: Delivered RAN Deployment TLS Verification Bypass to eco-gotests, enabling tests in environments with self-signed or internal certificates by introducing ECO_CNF_RAN_SKIP_TLS_VERIFY for go-git-based deployments. Updated README and go-git clone options to document and reflect the new configuration, improving test reliability in isolated networks and CI environments.
