Contributed an onboarding enhancement to the jenkins-infra/jenkins.io repository by updating Jenkins Pipeline documentation to clarify that the Git plugin is required when using Git as the source control. This targeted change addressed common setup ambiguities for new users, reducing misconfigurations and support requests. The update incorporated reviewer feedback and added explicit guidance in both the Pipeline getting-started and SCM documentation sections. Work was delivered as a single commit using asciidoc for documentation and leveraged Jenkins expertise alongside technical writing skills. The result improved the onboarding experience, enabling users to achieve successful pipeline setups more efficiently with clearer initial requirements.
