Worked on the rapyuta-robotics/rapyuta-io-cli repository to enhance configuration import and export processes for etcd, focusing on robust data serialization and backend reliability. Developed a shared JSON serialization helper in Python to ensure non-YAML values are consistently preserved, reducing export-time errors and aligning with cloud storage paths. Refactored serialization logic to maintain cross-path consistency and implemented fallbacks for YAML parsing failures, improving resilience to malformed inputs. Expanded test coverage, including unicode and data-type round-trips, to verify correctness. These improvements streamlined CI/CD deployment workflows and reduced downstream configuration errors, demonstrating strong skills in API development and backend engineering.
