Later, improved metadata integrity for the CESM2 (msftmz) dataset by refactoring coordinate mapping logic, enabling accurate translation of numerical region indices to descriptive basin names. Utilized Python, the Iris library, and scientific computing techniques to strengthen data validation and support reproducible oceanographic and climate analyses.
