During December 2025, Dhravya implemented Google Vertex AI provider support within the cloudflare/ai repository’s AI Gateway, enabling seamless integration with Google’s Vertex AI services. This work involved designing and coding a new provider interface using TypeScript, focusing on robust API integration and cloud service interoperability. By expanding the AI Gateway’s provider coverage, Dhravya reduced the integration effort required for customers leveraging Google Cloud AI, making the gateway more flexible for enterprise use. The implementation included end-to-end delivery, from code development to repository hygiene and traceable commits, reflecting a focused and technically sound approach within a short project timeframe.
