During March 2025, Di-Shi Sun upgraded the C++ library version in the google/libphonenumber repository, updating cpp/CMakeLists.txt from version 8.13.0 to 9.0.0. This work focused on build system configuration using CMake, ensuring the project’s versioning remained consistent with best practices. Although the update did not introduce functional changes, it strategically prepared the codebase for future dependency updates and feature development. By maintaining stability in the build process and aligning with downstream tooling requirements, Di-Shi Sun demonstrated attention to long-term maintainability and readiness, leveraging expertise in C++ and build automation to support ongoing project evolution.
