During April 2025, Di Sun enhanced the onboarding workflow in the jpmorgan-payments/embedded-finance repository by adding a natureOfOwnership field to the BeneficialOwnerStepForm. This feature allows users to specify whether ownership is direct or indirect, improving the quality and compliance of onboarding data. Di Sun implemented the change using React and TypeScript, focusing on front end development within the onboarding wizard. The work was delivered as a single, well-scoped commit, ensuring traceability and minimal disruption. By capturing more granular ownership information, the update supports regulatory requirements and enables more accurate downstream validations and analytics for onboarding processes.
