Worked on the analogdevicesinc/no-OS repository to enhance the stability and maintainability of the Max31343 RTC driver. Focused on improving code cleanliness by removing an unused include for no_os_delay.h and addressed a data type mismatch in the update_bits function to ensure compatibility with reg_read. These changes, implemented in C and targeting embedded systems, reduced the risk of bugs and made future modifications to the driver safer and more straightforward. The work demonstrated attention to detail in driver development, resulting in more reliable RTC interactions and a codebase that is easier to maintain for ongoing and future embedded projects.
