During March 2025, Daniel Cano developed a configurable icon position feature for the combobox component in the systelab-components repository. By enabling left or right icon placement, he aligned the component with evolving design guidelines and improved UI ergonomics across applications. Daniel approached the task using Angular and TypeScript, focusing on component flexibility and maintainability. His implementation reduced the need for downstream customization, streamlining integration for other teams. Although no bugs were fixed during this period, the work demonstrated a solid understanding of front-end development principles and component design, resulting in enhanced UI consistency and a more adaptable user interface component.
