In January 2026, Jekubili focused on enhancing the user interface and branding within the Home Assistant ecosystem by developing custom integration icons for the labelmate_scene integration in the home-assistant/brands repository. Using SVG for icon design and applying front end development and UI design skills, Jekubili improved the visual clarity and consistency of the integration’s representation across the platform. The work aligned with established branding standards and was delivered through a collaborative pull request. While the contribution was limited to a single feature and did not involve bug fixes, it addressed a specific need for improved UI coherence in Home Assistant.
