During October 2025, Dilmun focused on improving input validation logic in the rolling-scopes-school/tasks repository, specifically addressing a scoring penalty bug in the Virtual Music Kit task. By refining the penalty rule to deduct points only when user input exceeded twice the number of available sounds, Dilmun clarified and stabilized the scoring mechanism. The update was carefully isolated to prevent regressions and ensure consistent behavior across edge cases. Dilmun documented the change in Markdown, enhancing transparency for both users and maintainers. This work demonstrated attention to maintainable code hygiene, traceability, and effective communication through clear documentation and issue tracking practices.
