During April 2025, Dion Ricky Saputra enhanced the user interface of the apache/airflow-site repository by refining the Table of Contents experience. He developed a feature that hides the 'Suggest a change' button when users hover over the TOC, aiming to reduce visual clutter and prevent accidental feedback prompts. This solution was implemented using SCSS to control the button’s visibility and opacity based on hover state, ensuring the UI remains clean without disrupting core navigation. Dion applied his skills in CSS, SCSS, and front end development, proactively addressing usability concerns through targeted UI improvements rather than traditional bug fixes.
