During February 2025, Dist focused on front end development for the bitfocus/companion repository, addressing a UI bug in the Add Entities modal. Dist refactored the modal to dynamically display the correct entity type based on context, replacing a previously hardcoded value that caused user confusion and incorrect labeling. This change improved data integrity and user experience in entity management flows, aligning the implementation with issue #3280 for better maintainability. Working primarily with TypeScript, Dist demonstrated attention to UI correctness and state management, delivering a targeted bug fix that enhanced the accuracy and reliability of entityType-driven modals within the application.
