Addressed a critical bug by updating core npm packages such as @babel/plugin-transform-modules-systemjs, fast-uri, fast-xml-builder, @xmldom/xmldom, and lodash to secure versions, ensuring compliance with security standards. Applied a deprecation-safe patch by pinning lodash to mitigate CVEs while maintaining stability. Documented all remediations with detailed changelogs and co-authored notes, supporting reproducible builds and transparent security practices. Utilized JavaScript and npm as primary technologies, emphasizing security and dependency management to enhance the project’s overall security posture during the development period.
