During March 2025, Daniel Cook contributed to the google/oss-fuzz repository by implementing an automated maintainer notification feature for the trust-dns project. He updated the YAML-based configuration to ensure that relevant maintainers are automatically CC’d on project activities, streamlining communication and reducing manual oversight. This work involved cross-repository collaboration and demonstrated project management skills, with a focus on improving notification workflows and aligning with OSS-Fuzz governance standards. By enhancing the notification rules, Daniel’s contribution supported faster triage and clearer accountability for maintainers.
