Worked on the climatepolicyradar/navigator-backend repository to deliver CORS enablement for Climate Project Explorer domains, focusing on backend integration and API configuration using Python. Updated the CORS configuration to allow cross-origin requests from new domains, which facilitates smoother data ingestion and integration with external platforms. Managed version control to reflect these changes, ensuring traceability and maintainability. This work reduced integration friction and accelerated onboarding for new explorer integrations, supporting expanded analytics and data sharing use cases in climate policy. No major bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on enhancing backend readiness for external domain requests and integrations.
