During July 2025, Darko contributed to the red-hat-data-services/argo-workflows repository by developing a feature that enables sidecar containers to automatically terminate after all main containers complete execution. Using Go and leveraging Kubernetes container orchestration, Darko implemented logic ensuring sidecars wait for main containers to exit before shutting down, addressing issues with resource leakage and unpredictable workflow runtimes. This work improved cluster efficiency and reliability by reducing idle resource usage and stabilizing the sidecar lifecycle. The solution demonstrated a focused approach to resource management within containerized workflows, reflecting a solid understanding of Go development and Kubernetes orchestration in production environments.
