Worked on denoland/chromium_build to deliver two policy-driven dependency upgrades over two months, focusing on build system configuration and dependency management using GN and Rust. Upgraded the cxx crate and related cxxbridge crates to meet Chromium supply-chain policies, ensuring compliance and traceability across the Rust/C++ interop layer. Each update involved propagating changes throughout the build system, validating compatibility, and maintaining reproducible builds for downstream consumers. The approach emphasized risk reduction by keeping dependencies current and aligned with security requirements. No bugs were reported or fixed, reflecting a focus on proactive maintenance and stability rather than reactive issue resolution during this period.
