Worked on the kubernetes/minikube repository to enhance issue template management by localizing and cleaning up existing templates. Focused on improving the onboarding experience for a multilingual contributor base, the work involved adding new issue templates in Bulgarian, Italian, and German while removing outdated versions in Arabic, Spanish, Persian, French, Japanese, Kurdish, Portuguese, and Chinese. Leveraged skills in GitHub Actions, localization, and template management, using YAML to ensure consistency and maintainability. These updates streamlined the issue triage process, reduced support overhead for non-English users, and improved the repository’s readiness for international contributions, all tracked through a dedicated commit.
