During January 2025, Daniel Krees enhanced the ScottLogic/InferESG repository by delivering improvements to the ESG report prompt system. He refactored report headings for consistency using Jinja and Python, updated prompt templates, and integrated industry sector data collection with corresponding markdown output. This work focused on backend development and code refactoring, resulting in clearer, more contextual ESG reports that support better stakeholder decision-making. Daniel’s approach emphasized maintainability and template-driven prompt engineering, with changes implemented across two targeted commits. While no major bugs were addressed, the depth of feature work improved report clarity and enriched business context for end users.
