During April 2025, Dimitris Louca delivered a focused documentation update to the splunk/public-o11y-docs repository, enhancing guidance for OTLPHTTP token passthrough scenarios. He clarified the distinction between source and gateway tokens when collectors operate in agent mode and export to the gateway’s OTLP receiver, addressing common misconfigurations. Using RST and leveraging his documentation expertise, Dimitris revised authentication configuration instructions to align with security best practices.
