Worked on the dxos/dxos repository to enhance the modularity and maintainability of AI service integrations. Focused on extracting the AI service provider into a separate function, this refactoring effort improved the codebase’s extensibility and simplified future AI provider integrations. Additionally, removed an unused split-ci worktree file, streamlining the repository and reducing potential confusion during onboarding and continuous integration setup. Leveraged TypeScript and YAML to implement these changes, applying skills in build configuration, code organization, and refactoring. The work delivered cleaner repository hygiene, reduced maintenance overhead, and established a more robust foundation for ongoing development and onboarding processes.
