During January 2025, DMC focused on enhancing contributor documentation for the shepazon/aws-doc-sdk-examples repository. She updated the CONTRIBUTING.md file to reference Wikipedia for DRY and SOLID principles, ensuring that guidance for new contributors is both neutral and widely recognized. This work, implemented in Markdown and managed through Git-based collaboration and pull request workflows, aimed to standardize onboarding materials and reduce ambiguity. By aligning documentation with authoritative sources, DMC improved maintainability and clarity for future contributors. The scope of work was targeted and foundational, demonstrating attention to documentation quality and adherence to open-source contribution standards within a collaborative development environment.
