Worked on the google/adk-js repository to enhance reliability by focusing on robust error handling within the FunctionTool component. Applied TypeScript to implement comprehensive error wrapping and reporting, ensuring that execution-time issues are surfaced clearly for easier debugging and improved downstream reliability. Developed targeted unit tests to validate error throwing, which increased test coverage and confidence in the codebase. Addressed typographical errors in related components such as AgentTool and ToolConfirmation, refining the clarity of error messages and overall user experience. The work emphasized careful testing and precise error management, contributing to a more maintainable and dependable TypeScript codebase.
