Worked on the apache/inlong repository to modernize build and CI/CD workflows over a two-month period. Focused on upgrading Docker base images for TubeMQ components, improving build stability, compatibility, and security by updating the zookeeper and GCC images in Dockerfiles. Enhanced maintainability through explicit version pinning and detailed commit documentation. In the following month, upgraded the CodeQL Action in GitHub Actions workflows from v2 to v3, standardizing its use across the repository to strengthen code quality and security scanning. Utilized Dockerfile, YAML, and CI/CD skills to deliver targeted improvements that reduced build failures and improved security posture.
