During a two-month period, Zhang focused on modernizing build and CI/CD workflows for the apache/inlong repository. He upgraded Docker base images for TubeMQ components, moving zookeeper and GCC images to newer versions to improve build compatibility, security, and maintainability. Zhang’s work emphasized container hygiene and version pinning, reducing build failures and aligning with supported environments. In addition, he enhanced code quality and security by updating the CodeQL Action in GitHub Actions workflows from v2 to v3, standardizing its usage across the repository. His contributions leveraged Dockerfile, YAML, and CI/CD expertise to strengthen the project’s infrastructure and reliability.
