Worked on the nf-core/modules repository to migrate both the bismark_summary and DRAGEN Germline modules to topic channels, enhancing version tracking, traceability, and reporting for bioinformatics workflows. Leveraged Nextflow, Groovy, and YAML to refine input handling, improve code hygiene, and align with NF-core best practices. Updated module scripts and metadata, separated input parameters for greater reliability, and maintained clear commit histories to support reproducibility. Collaborated with co-authors during code review, ensuring quality and maintainability. These contributions improved modularity and maintainability across pipelines, supporting more robust downstream analyses and enabling better governance of workflow versions within the repository.
