Worked on the camptocamp/c2cgeoportal repository to enhance the reliability and security of the authentication flow. Focused on backend development using Python, the work addressed edge cases in user information parsing and improved OpenID Connect handling by refining JSON parsing logic. To ensure these changes remained robust over time, a dedicated test suite was introduced, emphasizing thorough testing practices and regression prevention. The approach prioritized secure handling of authentication data and maintainable code structure. Although no new features were added during this period, the targeted bug fix contributed to a more stable authentication process and improved overall backend reliability for the project.
