Dominic Phan enhanced observability in the wandb/helm-charts repository by enabling Weave tracing by default in Helm-based Kubernetes deployments. He upgraded the Helm chart to version 0.33.2 and configured tracing with 100% sampling, ensuring comprehensive end-to-end monitoring across all environments. Using YAML and Helm, Dominic also aligned weave query defaults with the new tracing configuration, improving the consistency of query behavior. These changes addressed the need for better production visibility and faster root-cause analysis, ultimately reducing operational risk and mean time to repair.
