Worked on enhancing the LibreNMS to Alerta integration within the librenms/librenms repository, focusing on improving alert payload quality for better filtering and processing. Used PHP to implement an Alerta transport enhancement that introduced an Origin field, enabling more precise filtering of LibreNMS alerts in Alerta. Applied backend development and API integration skills to clean up the alert payload by removing duplicate and unnecessary fields, which reduced data volume and improved readability. Collaborated cross-team to ensure code quality, resulting in more reliable alert routing, lower bandwidth usage, and faster ingestion for system monitoring workflows involving Alerta and LibreNMS.
