Worked on the Automattic/vip-design-system repository, delivering two features focused on accessibility and design consistency. Implemented keyboard-focused ring visibility for form controls and Accordion components, ensuring focus indicators appear only during keyboard navigation and addressing overflow clipping with inset shadows. Updated DialogTitle typography to align with design tokens by adopting the text.h3 scale, reducing hard-coded values and improving consistency across dialogs. Refactored DialogTitle JSX for better formatting and compatibility with Prettier, enhancing code maintainability. Utilized React, TypeScript, and CSS-in-JS to drive these improvements, resulting in more accessible, visually consistent, and stable frontend components within the design system.
