Developed a deployment configuration feature for the robusta-dev/robusta repository, enabling the runner’s binding address to be set externally via an environment variable with a default of 0.0.0.0. This approach improved deployment flexibility by allowing network binding to be managed without code changes, supporting diverse infrastructure requirements. The implementation focused on backend development using Python, leveraging environment variable handling and configuration management best practices. All changes were linked to specific commits for traceability and auditability. No bugs were reported or fixed during this period, and the work emphasized maintainable, externally configurable deployment patterns for robusta-dev/robusta’s backend services.
