This approach standardized the definition of domain owners and DNS records, laying the groundwork for safer onboarding and future automation. All configuration changes were encapsulated in a single, traceable commit, supporting both rollback and auditability. The work emphasized configuration management best practices, focusing on maintainability and reliability rather than bug fixes. By leveraging JSON for structured data and prioritizing clear commit messaging, the project improved onboarding speed and established a foundation for scalable, automated domain administration in future iterations.
