During December 2025, Dowang updated the DeepEP repository by enhancing documentation for Hybrid-EP backend capabilities. Focusing on backend development and high-performance computing, Dowang clarified technical aspects such as minimal SM usage, NVLink support, communication-computation overlap, PCIe kernel support, and NVFP4 data type support, all articulated in Markdown. This work improved developer onboarding by making complex backend features more accessible and reducing future support needs. By aligning the documentation with the experimental branch, Dowang established a clear foundation for future development. The update addressed both immediate clarity and long-term maintainability, reflecting a thoughtful approach to technical communication and project scalability.
