Worked on the nationalarchives/da-ayr-beta-webapp repository to enhance the user experience of the GOV.UK phase banner, focusing on UI/UX design and front end development using HTML. Implemented a consistent phase banner by integrating the govukPhaseBanner helper, ensuring alignment with GOV.UK design standards. Addressed user authentication flows by updating the sign-out link to display only for authenticated users, reducing confusion for guests. Updated UI screenshots to accurately reflect the latest design changes, supporting clear visual documentation. All changes were delivered through two traceable commits, demonstrating a methodical approach to template rendering and interface consistency within the project’s design framework.
