Worked on the cqframework/clinical-reasoning repository to enhance code maintainability and ensure future compatibility. Focused on refactoring Java code by replacing deprecated ILoggingService usage with the updated import from org.hl7.fhir.r5.context, aligning the project with current HL7 FHIR R5 library standards. This change preserved logging functionality after library upgrades and reduced the risk of future maintenance issues. No new user-facing features were introduced during this period, as the primary goal was to address technical debt and improve upgrade readiness. Demonstrated skills in code maintenance and refactoring, with careful attention to commit traceability and long-term project stability.
