During February 2025, Dotproduct focused on backend development for the 0xPlaygrounds/rig repository, addressing robustness issues in the XAI agent prompt pipeline. Working in Rust, Dotproduct engineered a solution to prevent empty preambles and system messages from being introduced into the chat history and prompt processing. This fix resolved errors documented in issues #305 and #306, directly improving the reliability of prompt composition and reducing failure modes in the XAI agent. The work demonstrated careful attention to edge cases in prompt handling, resulting in a more stable user experience and a validated, production-ready improvement to the system’s backend logic.
