Month 2025-08: OpenObserve Helm Chart Deployment - implemented as a new OpenObserve application in the Helm incubator charts for deployment and management, followed by migration to the stable repository and a 1.0.0 upgrade to reflect deployment stability. This work establishes a repeatable, production-ready OpenObserve deployment path within TrueCharts, reducing packaging effort for users and accelerating time-to-value for monitoring deployments.

June 2025 performance summary: Delivered high-value improvements across two Helm chart repositories, focusing on Kubernetes RBAC control and storage reliability. Key features included an explicit service account override for pods in truecharts/public, enabling precise service account binding and bypassing default selection logic; updates to Helm templates and docs to reflect this capability. Resolved a critical Neo4j chart persistence issue in bitnami/charts by preserving existing claims when persistence is enabled, preventing unexpected data-loss or provisioning failures. The work reduces deployment risk, enhances security posture, and improves operator efficiency during upgrades and day-to-day deployments.
