During this period, contributed a key interoperability feature to the curl/curl repository, focusing on cryptographic library integration using C. Developed a mechanism for dynamic switching between wolfSSL and OpenSSL for core cryptographic functions such as MD4, MD5, and DES, leveraging compile-time macros to enable flexible deployments across diverse environments. This approach enhanced interoperability and allowed for tailored security configurations without altering application code. Additionally, addressed stability concerns by refining wolfSSL’s OPENSSL_COEXIST handling within the same feature scope. The work demonstrated depth in cryptography and library integration, emphasizing maintainability and adaptability in cross-library cryptographic implementations for C-based projects.
