Developed a new network policy templating capability for the warpstreamlabs/charts repository, focusing on enhancing the security and configurability of Kubernetes deployments using Helm. The work involved creating a dedicated YAML template file for network policies within the warpstream-agent Helm chart, updating the changelog and versioning to reflect these changes, and implementing a basic CI test to validate the correct application of network policies. Leveraging skills in DevOps, Kubernetes, and Helm, this contribution enabled finer-grained control over network security configurations, supporting more robust deployment practices and improving the overall security posture for users of the warpstream-agent Helm chart.
