Worked on the VEuPathDB/StaticContent repository to deliver a comprehensive modernization of the MicrobiomeDB FAQ, focusing on restructuring content, expanding questions and answers, and embedding media to enhance user guidance. The approach involved aligning FAQ materials with beta data sources, improving data access workflows, and ensuring robust linking of images and code references. Utilized Jekyll, Markdown, and YAML to implement these documentation improvements, emphasizing maintainability and ease of onboarding for future contributors. The work was iterative, with 21 commits reflecting careful attention to detail, and resulted in a more streamlined user experience and reduced support friction for the project.
