Worked on infrastructure maintenance for the pulibrary/princeton_ansible repository, focusing on configuration management to improve deployment reliability. Addressed a bug by updating the Ansible inventory, specifically removing two deprecated staging hostnames from the special_collections group to reflect the decommissioning of obsolete environments. This change reduced the risk of accidental deployments to outdated hosts and aligned the staging environment with current infrastructure needs. Utilized INI syntax for inventory management and applied best practices in configuration management to ensure accuracy and prevent deployment drift. The work emphasized careful environment cleanup and precise inventory updates rather than feature development during the period.
