During January 2026, Dqi focused on improving test documentation accuracy for the TodePond/GulfOfMexico repository. Addressing a data integrity issue, Dqi identified and fixed a bug in the Markdown-based test documentation by updating the recorded cheat count from 119 to 120, ensuring consistency with the underlying data model and end-to-end test results. The work emphasized documentation best practices, including clear commit hygiene and traceable change logs using Git version control. While no new features were released, Dqi’s disciplined approach enhanced audit readiness and reduced the risk of misreporting, laying a foundation for future data-quality initiatives within the project.
