Worked on reliability improvements in the sonic-net/sonic-mgmt repository, focusing on IPv4 header handling for 8-priority PFC queue configurations. Addressed a critical bug in Python code where the IPv4 header configuration was skipped during background traffic generation when pfcQueueGroupSize equaled eight. Refactored the generate_background_flows function by moving the IPv4 configuration block to ensure it executes for all queue setups, enhancing code clarity and reliability. Utilized Python and Snappi for network testing, ensuring consistent application of source, destination, and priority settings. This fix prevents traffic generation failures and supports stable packet classification across standard 8-queue PFC environments.
