Developed offline mode support for Veles validators in the google/osv-scalibr repository, focusing on enhancing CLI reliability in restricted-network environments. The work introduced a pre-validation network capability check, ensuring that validators respect offline mode before proceeding with validation tasks. To maintain correct offline behavior, an automated test was added to guard the filtering logic for Veles validators, improving test coverage for offline scenarios. This feature was implemented using Go, with an emphasis on backend development and robust testing practices. The changes addressed offline-first use cases, reducing validation failures and supporting more resilient operation in environments with limited connectivity.
